Shaw University was proud to host several activities leading to the just ended NAACP week, which culminated to the famous "Historic March on Jones Street - HKonJ" on Saturday February 11, 2012. The HKonJ march started at 9:30am outside Shaw University on East South Street in Raleigh. The delegation marched and arrived at the Raleigh Museum of Natural Sciences grounds where several speakers talked about several issues of civil rights and justice.
