11:30pm Monday Nov 3rd. I am getting ready to go to sleep because I have to prepare myself for tomorrow, Election Day. I am so nervous that I probably will not be able to get any good sleep. Tomorrow, wow, I can’t wait.
7:45am Tues Nov 4thGood morning, it is finally here, Election Day and I plan on sleeping all day so that I can be up all night waiting for the results to come in. It’s about eight a.m. and I am already getting a headache from this election. There are some problems that are occurring at a couple of poll location this morning and I am watching the news to see what solutions are going to be made. I will keep you guys posted when I find out more information.
5 pm now and I am on my way out the house to start my celebration for the 1st black president. I just watch the news and was able to get an update on the problems I told you guys were happening at some of the polls. Ok, one problem occurred in Raleigh, when the person who was in charge of delivering the ballots left them in the trunk of her car…..lol…..yes but her grandson had her car. The voters had to wait for her to get in contact with her grandson to bring the ballots back to her. Now, because of this problem they are keeping this location open for an additional one hour. The other problem happened in Durham; an accident caused an outage in one of the poll locations. The lights are one and this location as well will be open a little later than scheduled.
I am at the Youth Empowerment of NC fundraiser but I can not keep focus on the event because I am so nervous about the election. I just found out that John McCain is in the lead and I am very upset. On top of that K97.5 did not show up so the event is kind of pointless now. My niece, who is with me at the game, just received a text stating that Obama is in the lead with the electoral votes; so far it is 107 to 39. Get him Obama, ok maybe now I can watch and see who is going to win this game, so I can go home to see who is going to win the election.
11 pmIt’s over………all of the votes haven’t got in but they are already predicting that Obama won. It is 207 to 135….
11:52 pmObama, WHAT!!!!!!!!, Obama is the 44th President and our first black president. I called everyone I could possible think of. I just got off the phone with Dr. Marshall and he said he is tired and he going to sleep and so am I. Good night….
OBAMA YA’LLOk, well I haven’t gone to sleep yet. I had to see my president give his acceptance speak. I also had to watch McCain give his concession speech and see Palin act her normal, FAKE. Now I am going to sleep…..Good Night….
