Timothy Dann is a 4 year old dancer who he performed his Micheal Jackson act, “Smooth Criminal”, numerous times with Shaw University Platinum Sound and for other talent based places in the Raleigh community. Tineka Richardson, cosmetologist and Timothy mother says, that he loves to dance it’s an everyday all day thing to do for him. “Acting is Timothy’s first and foremost talent, acting is just an addition to it”, said Tineka. “Timothy just really started the Micheal Jackson imitation when Micheal died, but so far it’s his favorite entertainer, said Tineka. He learned from Micheal Jackson video and concert tapes, she said.
“Since a year ago Timothy goal is to be a movie star”, she said. Tineka says Timothy performs at a lot of other places; he just performed with Bowie State at the CIAA this past Saturday.
Shawnda Cooper former neighbor of Timothy said, “He loves to dance from what I sees, I think he is a sweet and creative individual. She said, it makes her happy to see him dance the way he does. “At first performing did scare him, because he thought everyone would laugh at him, but once he had seen a video of himself, “Little Micheal”, kicked in action and he has been terrific with the audience ever since”, she said.
Timothy is a former student at The Shaw University Center for Early Childhood Education, Research and Development and he is glad to share such a great performing experience with Platinum Sound and other places that have accepted his talent, Tineka says.
