Andrea Williams

The name Andrea means strong and courageous. I believe these are two adjectives that accurately describe me. I hail from the city that never sleeps, the Bronx, New York. My favorite colors are pink and purple. I enjoy interacting, and helping others. I believe there’s more of blessing in life in giving than receiving. I am a senior at Shaw University, majoring in Mass Communications with a concentration in Journalism. I am also a Co Managing Editor for the Student Newspaper Publication, Shaw Bear Facts, and also a contributing writer. I have a host of other activities that I participate in on my campus. Post Undergrad I plan on pursuing a Masters degree in Public Relations. I believe education is the key to life, and knowledge is power. A quote that I live by is “The race isn’t given to the swift, nor to the battle to the strong, but to the one that endureth it all”.
