Friday held the annual Alumni Golf Scholarship Tournament for Shaw University. Gathering at Riverwood Golf and Athletic Club in Clayton, NC were several of Shaw University’s most loyal alumni. Though it was obvious who were and were not the regular and often golfers, their was a redolence of school pride.
The men and women played for prizes such as trophies, plaques, and even a BMW sport car. However the most important prize was the up-to 4 milliion dollars in scholarship money for Shaw University.
