The Alpha’s are becoming more Sociable

The Alpha’s are taking a more noticeable look on campus now days. According to Anthony Fitzpatrick who is an Alpha of the spring ’07 chapter states that the “new chapter is focusing on becoming more sociable. We are trying to have everyone understand who the Alpha’s really are in a good light, and veer away from the negative connotations. For the most part we just want people to really understand our organization as a whole and see what we are bringing to the campus as well as the community.” With the words spoken the charge toward that very goal has become the motto they live by. The Alphas are continuing pursue the usage of the big brothers association to tie in with the community. Members of the chapter would take through the big brother association inner city kids to college campuses and show them the different aspects of life rather than what they see on the streets. Also there is a ladies appreciation dinner that is in the works, in where the Alpha’s take all the women on campus to a restaurant and formally treat then with a night on the town. As for the 26th of this month the Annual Pajama Jam will be taking place as scheduled. With the year dawning on us we can expect more from the Alpha’s in the long run for they are being directed by a new breed of gentlemen.
