Residents from the TOS men dorm has found refuge and is temporarily residing in the TOS women dorm until all damages has been resolved and repaired.
According to Joyce Allen Davis, administrative assistant to the VP of student affairs, there was enough space in the women dorm to accommodate all of the men residents. “The sprinklers that caused the flooding originated by a human error and are currently under investigation,” said Davis.
Students are working with officials to help with accommodations. “All of the on campus residents reacted appropriately when rescue mode was called. Some even donated pillows and sheets,” states Davis.
According to academic affairs, the resumption of classes in the TOS building is undecided. Professors and students are working together to ensure that assignments are completed and turned in.
There are uncertainties about the amount of time it is going to take to repair the damages but the work is currently in progress, according to student affairs.
