Monica holds a Bachelor in Education Concentration in Early Childhood Education from her home country Peru.

From 2004-2011 she taught in Lima Peru in private bilingual schools. On 2012 she traveled to United States and started teaching Spanish in public schools as a Kindergarten Dual Language teacher. After two years she returned to her education field and started to work as a preschool Spanish Immersion teacher.
