I am from New York but moved to California to earn my BA in journalism from Sacramento State. I minored in government so I am also strong in Social Studies subjects as well as ELA. I have served as a teacher and/or substitute teacher for over a decade and am certified to teach MS and HS Social Studies here in North Carolina, where I have lived for the past seven years.
